Were the guys in Alabama receptive to allowing karting on their test track? I assume it is completed by now.

I'd just be worried about a bike/ car/ kart losing it in what looks like turn 1 (red x) and shooting across to the other side of the track. Or you put a wall there, which means a turn 1 without any runoff.

The blue line would leave plenty of runoff area and you'd have an exciting high speed turn.

I wouldnt worry about that at all...european tracks have sections that double back close to another part of the track all of the time...

Seems like someone checked and they don't allow karts and/or private parties on the track.
