I just went to check lap times closely and what else can I say: competition is beautiful !
In MiniMax qualification Angus made 8 out of 12 laps below his previous best time and faster than lap record before 1 month ago (Oct 11 race).
Michael beat lap record in 6 laps out of 12 and is now more than 1 second faster than he was 1 year ago. |

So how fast he was today?
Here in Ocala in Minimax we have 5 tony karts, 2 kosmic (which is technically tony) and one arrow. |

| Connor got a case of the wuss today. I unloaded at the track and when he came outside in the am he decided he was cold and did not want to race. Needless to say Dad was not a happy camper. We had been working the better part of the week to get a good run. Not giving times, sorry. We were fast enough to run with angus i think. So any way it is on to next year. We will see what happens. Good job Ihor in florida, you guys are running good these days. |

we look forward to next year's minimax class. we're still looking for that right set up, but i think we've now ruled out what isn't fast. yesterday we tried a couple of things and were way off, so michael's record was very safe. but we'll be working over the winter and will see you guys in '09. we missed not getting to race connor before the break, and i wish we could get jesse to switch to minimax.
