Michael and Angus in Mini, nobody else from GA.
1 KidKart, 3 Mini, 2 Juniors, 5 Seniors, 3 Masters, 3 Shifters
Austin Tillery won his first senior race, with some very fast people behind: Ken Sullivan, Mark Sheffield, Keith Karr, and Cory Emick improved from low 38s to low 37s racing with them.
Mack won Masters.
Michael qualified first (38.51), Christopher Tillery (38.57), Angus Hunt (39.1). Angus was as fast as 38.8 in second practice less than 0.1s from first place. In first heat Michael set new track record in Mini (38.27) and kept Christopher in safe distance behind. Angus lost in chassis changes making only some good laps. In second heat Christopher was sitting on Michael's rear bumper for the most of the race. One small slide in turn 1 and Michael left space for half kart and they collided being almost side by side. That was last lap and Christopher was first to get back to track. In final race Michael stayed 2nd until 3 laps to go when he made pass downhill (creek turn) inside and they finished in that order. Hunts left before the final due to family emergency.
Senior races was very entertaining. While Austin was able to stay first in all of them, the rest of the pack were constantly fighting for second place.
Weather was perfect and track was fast. Next time is BCKC banquet after the usual race schedule. |

Man, that sounds like some good racing. Congratulations to Michael on the win.
Next year we need to get up a big group to go over for a race or two and see if we can't fare a little better in Seniors and Masters like Michael did in Mini. I'm not necessarily saying middle of July, but spring and fall sound nice. 100F in the shade seems to have some lasting effects. _________________ CRG, Rotax #08 |

I'm definitely down for at least one race at BCKC next season. _________________ Tonykart EVRR / Adkins Yamaha |
